To be honest, I found Apple’s announcement of the iPad quite underwhelming. I mean, c’mon! The name alone conjures up ideas of feminine hygiene products, not the “magical” most advanced technology that has ever been created.
Don’t get me wrong…if someone gave me one of these suckers, I’d take it in a heart beat. I’d like to try out the book reader.
I think this is a great first step in a new direction of computing. I’d like to see 2nd and 3rd generations of the iPad, but for all that is good, please change the name!!

In 2006, Oz Fox of Stryper fame joined Bloodgood and there was talk of a new Bloodgood album. In 2009 Oz joined Stryper on an international tour to support Stryper’s 25th Anniversary (of which I had the honor of attending) and that was the last I heard of him with Bloodgood.
Fast forward to yesterday, when a music blog I read posted a blog about Liberty ‘n Justice, a compilation band with a new album that features a wide variety of musicians. On this record is a song entitled “Treading On Serpents”. It features non other than Les Carlsen, Bloodgood’s lead vocalist, and Oz Fox, guitar player for Stryper and Bloodgood.
We just received all three kids report cards this week and am so very, very proud of them!!
Nathan’s Report card (click to the above picture to enlarge!) He has worked so hard and I hate to say it but we’ve battled more than once over homework.
Bekah has also worked so hard to earn these grades! I think she is on her way to beat her big sister when she graduates 8th grade next year!
Hannah has had so much homework this year it isn’t even funny! Yet she trudges through it all and gets these grades in AP classes! She must get her brains from her mom!
I just wanted to publicly pat my kids on the back for all their hard work and let them know how proud I am of them!
